Outfit Ideas
Swiftex 2
Swiftex 2 is a performance fabric constructed with cotton-like recycled polyester in the warp and MVS yarn with a specialized twist structure in the weft. While utilizing sustainable materials, it offers resistance to pilling and snagging, along with excellent quick-dry performance.
Design
Designed with extended sleeve length, a wider armhole, and a slightly generous body width to ensure freedom of movement and comfort around the arms. The overall relaxed silhouette provides a natural, unrestrictive wearing experience.
Graphics
The graphics are original illustrations by painter/illustrator Takashi Nakamura.
The theme is “Love the local trails.” It symbolically depicts Mt. Rokkokukenzan, a landmark of Kita-Kamakura, combining the “六=6” from the mountain’s name with the ridgeline and signboards visible from the observation deck, expressed through Nakamura’s unique technique of lines and dots.

Takashi Nakamura
Born in 1976 in Niigata Prefecture, currently based in Saitama Prefecture.
Graduated from Japan Design College, working as a freelance illustrator/painter for advertising visuals and book/magazine illustrations.
Notable works include: serialized illustrations for “A Painter’s Record” on Hobonichi Shinbun, scarf design for Hermès, illustrations for Helsinki’s “Curious Project,” artwork for Europe’s *Standart Magazine*, and puzzle illustrations for France’s “SULO.”

Technology and Features

Swiftex 2

Swiftex 2 is a sustainable, high-spec sports fabric that uses cotton-like recycled polyester for the warp and specially twisted MVS yarn* for the weft.

While having a natural texture and a soft, dry touch like natural fibers, it offers moisture-wicking and quick-drying performance, anti-pilling, UV protection, excellent lateral stretch, and easy care.

Its internal yarn structure quickly disperses moisture, making it superior in sweat management and preventing cling to the skin, ensuring lasting comfort. It performs well in a wide range of situations—from high-intensity activities such as trail running and fastpacking to hiking and as a winter base layer.

*MVS yarn (Murata Vortex Spinning)
MVS yarn is a high-performance yarn spun with an air vortex. The special structure directs all fibers inward, resulting in less fuzz and excellent resistance to pilling, quick-drying, and wash durability. The smooth, dry texture ensures comfort and functionality.
